Job summary

Stanford Health Care is seeking a Platform Expert to apply deep functional and systems mastery in value-based care, design, deploy, and support solutions that improve quality, reduce medical expense, and enhance the managed-member experience.

The role covers Epic payer and population health modules such as Tapestry, Healthy Planet, Compass Rose, and VBPM, and includes non-Epic systems like Stanson and Cotiviti.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in healthcare IT platforms and value-based care architecture.
• Ability to design, deploy and support integrated platform solutions across Epic and non-Epic systems.
• Experience mentoring analysts and guiding solutioning without direct people management.

Responsibilities

• Technical solutioning & tool evaluation across platform.
• Lead cross-team solutioning sessions; drive option analysis and feasibility.
• Evaluate build-vs-buy and native-vs-purpose-built approaches on technical merits.
• Maintain fluency across adjacent IT domains (integration, data, security).
• Partner with IT teams as a peer convener for complex projects.
• Define technical approach and build strategy for major projects.
