Job summary

Manpower USA seeks a detail-oriented Clinical Pharmacist to improve patient outcomes through prior authorization reviews and clinical decision-making. This fully remote role requires NC licensure, a PharmD perferred, and at least 3 years of pharmacist experience.

Responsibilities include reviewing PA requests, analyzing utilization data, guiding pharmacy technicians, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The role offers a daytime schedule and exposure to PBM processes in a leading healthcare

Qualifications

• Current Pharmacist license in North Carolina; PharmD preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of pharmacist experience in a related setting.
• Experience working in a remote/work-from-home environment.
• Ability to manage a high-volume workload and prioritize effectively.

Responsibilities

• Review prior authorization requests and determine coverage according to benefits and clinical criteria.
• Analyze utilization data and summarize daily review statistics.
• Track review case compliance and support regulatory requirements.
• Provide clinical guidance to pharmacy technicians.
• Evaluate guidelines for prior authorizations and non-formulary requests.
• Support Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee initiatives and PBM design.
• Ensure quality standards and identify improvement opportunities.
• Research drug information and disease states for clinical decisions.
• Use drug coding systems (NDC, GCN, GPI, USC) and NCPDP processes.
