Job summary

Rho Inc. is seeking a Clinical Team Lead II to drive the clinical operations portion of assigned projects. You will oversee CRA training, site performance, and compliance with study protocols and regulations.

This role offers remote work across the United States and requires leadership of the clinical operations function on multiple trials. Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in clinical research, BA/BS in a life science, strong communication skills, and a track record of managing timelines,

Qualifications

• 8+ years in clinical research within CRO/pharma/biotech
• BA/BS in life science or related field
• Understanding of medical terminology
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
• Commitment to quality and high scientific standards
• High-character with teamwork and integrity
• Critical thinker who interprets situations objectively
• Agile and adaptable; comfortable with change
• Willing to travel up to 25%

Responsibilities

• Drive project success with cross-functional study leadership
• Identify and mitigate clinical risks; contribute to risk management plan
• Review study protocols and materials (e.g. CRF)
• Manage clinical operations timelines, metrics, resourcing, budget
• Develop monitoring tools and plans
• Oversee site performance and CRAs; ensure protocol compliance
• Lead training for investigators, conferences, and teams
• Coordinate start-up processes; ensure sites and supplies meet expectations
• Provide status updates to PMs and sponsors
• Lead regular clinical team teleconferences
• Coordinate with Site staff; act as escalation point for CRAs
• Manage site communications and study documentation
• Participate in RFPs and business development meetings
• Review monitoring visit reports; ensure contractual timelines
• Assist Project Managers with PM tasks
• Support management and development of in-house CRAs and CRAs
• Lead with Neurology/Pain-focused experiences preferred
