Job summary

Rho is hiring a Clinical Team Lead to drive clinical research project success. You will own the clinical operations portion of assigned projects, provide direction to CRAs, and ensure site and CRA compliance with study protocols and ICH/GCP guidelines.

The role supports remote work nationwide, with travel up to 25% and opportunities to mentor CRAs while coordinating with cross-functional study leadership. Strong communication and quality focus are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of clinical research experience within CRO/pharma/biotech
• 1–2 years leading the clinical operations function in trials
• At least 2 years of on-site monitoring experience; Neurology/Pain experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree required; life science/nursing/pharmacy preferred

Responsibilities

• Proactively drive project success with cross-functional study leadership.
• Identify and mitigate clinical risks; contribute to risk management plans.
• Review study protocols and materials (e.g., CRF) for quality and accuracy.
• Develop and manage clinical operations timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Lead training sessions, investigator meetings, and team trainings.
• Oversee site performance in line with productivity expectations.
• Coordinate start-up activities and site/site staff communications.
• Provide updates to PMs and sponsors; lead regular team teleconferences.
• Support CRAs and in-house CRA development.
