Job summary

Penumbra is seeking a temporary Clinical Data Manager to lead data management for one or more trials while ensuring data integrity and quality. The role supports study activities on a part-time basis (20 hours/week) for an initial 6-month assignment, with potential extension.

Applicants must be eligible to live and work in the US. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to maintain timelines, deliverables, and regulatory compliance across trial data assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years in a medical device, pharmaceutical company, or similar environment.
• Master’s degree with 3+ years of clinical research experience is preferred.
• CCDM certification is a plus.
• Strong experience with electronic data capture systems (Rave, InForm, eClinicalOS, REDCap) is required.
• Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and GCPs across trials.
• Excellent data management, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead data management activities within assigned studies including startup, conduct, closeout, and reporting.
• Serve as data management SME on project teams for timelines and deliverables.
• Oversee DM CROs and vendors to ensure compliance with protocols and standards.
• Maintain DM documentation per regulatory requirements.
• Train CRAs and other teams on data entry practices to ensure consistency.
• Monitor study progress using reports to meet timeliness and quality goals.
• Adhere to QMS and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Participate in audits and inspections.
