Job summary

PACS Group, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Compliance Auditor I to conduct audits of clinical documentation and regulatory compliance for skilled nursing facilities. You will ensure CMS and state requirements adherence, support quality improvement, and promote accurate billing practices.

Remote role with less than 25% travel. Collaboration with operations, clinical teams, and IT to implement corrective actions and trainings.

Qualifications

• Active nursing license (RN/LPN/LVN) required.
• Nursing certificate or associate degree required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years in compliance and/or skilled nursing facilities.
• Regional MDS or multi-site compliance oversight experience.
• Strong Medicare/Medicaid documentation and coding knowledge.
• RAC-CT preferred.
• Experience with clinical auditing and internal investigations.
• Strong analytical, communication, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Complete internal audits related to billing, documentation, therapy utilization, and coding.
• Analyze audit findings to identify trends and root causes.
• Partner with operations to implement corrective action plans.
• Conduct or partner on compliance investigations.
• Deliver live and virtual training sessions with cross‑functional teams.
• Provide regular updates and reports on investigations and audits.
