Job summary

Intuitive is seeking a Clinical Applications Engineer to expand access to robotic minimally invasive care. Based remotely with on-site support as requested, you will assist early users, guide system learning, and provide clinical and technical expertise during procedures.

In this role, you’ll travel up to 70% to hospitals nationwide, collaborate with global teams, stay current on IFUs and literature, and help physicians and staff achieve proficiency and safe adoption of the da Vinci system.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of technical or clinical healthcare experience.
• Experience navigating hospitals and supporting procedures.
• Willing to travel up to 70% and work nights/weekends as needed.
• Ability to work autonomously in a dynamic environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration in remote teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering or healthcare field.

Responsibilities

• Provide procedural support to new robotic system sites.
• Collaborate with global Clinical Applications Engineering and Endoluminal Sales.
• Offer expert clinical and technical training to physicians and staff.
• Identify concerns for adoption and coordinate with training partners.
• Maintain communication with global teams and development partners.
• Share best practices and product feedback with peers.
• Stay current on IFUs, best practices, and literature.
• Prioritize requests in high-stress environments.
