Job summary

Pearl Talent is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly with clients, implementing, customizing, and scaling our product in their environment. This role is not back-office; you’ll own deployment outcomes from integration to adoption and be the main technical voice post-sale.

Responsibilities include onboarding, building integrations, and translating client needs into actionable technical plans.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a software engineering role with direct client- or field-facing exposure.
• Full-stack or backend proficiency with hands-on production code experience.
• Demonstrated experience building custom integrations, scripts, or internal tooling to connect a core product with external client systems.
• Track record of owning technical implementations end-to-end: scoping, building, shipping, and supporting.
• Experience running technical discovery sessions or live debugging with client stakeholders.
• C1+ English (CEFR) — primary technical contact for US-based client accounts.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical onboarding and implementation for new clients, configuring the product to fit their workflows, data, and systems.
• Build custom integrations, scripts, or lightweight tools to bridge gaps between the core product and each client's existing stack.
• Translate ambiguous client requirements into a scoped technical plan and execute it independently.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for assigned accounts during and after rollout.
• Run technical discovery calls and debug issues live with client stakeholders.
• Communicate solutions in terms non-technical audiences can act on.
• Monitor deployed solutions for reliability and performance, fixing or flagging issues before the client notices.
• Document deployment patterns and reusable components for faster future rollouts.
