Job summary

EMC Insights is seeking a Clean Energy Engineer to join our rapidly growing team in New Jersey. You will be pivotal in supporting energy efficiency programs, requiring strong technical skills and a self-motivated attitude. This role involves onsite assessments, customer collaboration, and producing engineering deliverables.

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in engineering and possess excellent communication skills, organizational abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Flexible PTO, competitive wages, and professional development reimbursement are included.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated understanding of HVAC, lighting, thermodynamics, and mechanical systems.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
• Detail-oriented, organized, self-starter with ability to prioritize workload.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily with customers to support participation in energy efficiency programs.
• Conduct inspections to verify installation and operation of energy-efficient equipment.
• Provide technical support to utility customers and Trade Allies.
• Produce high-quality engineering deliverables with support from peers.
• Perform and review energy savings calculations.
• Communicate efficiently with customers and Trade Allies.

Education

BS or MS Degree in mechanical, industrial, electrical, or chemical engineering
