Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Claims Team Lead for Workers’ Compensation with jurisdiction and licensing NV requirements, remote. Lead multiple examiner teams and ensure compliance, accuracy and client satisfaction.

The role includes supervising training, handling complex claims, and maintaining client relationships while ensuring licensed execution across jurisdictions, with flexible work options and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Six years of claims experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two years claims supervisor experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervises multiple teams of examiners and technical staff for workers' compensation claims.
• Identifies trends and informs management with recommendations.
• Provides technical/jurisdictional direction to examiner reports on claims adjudication.
• Compiles reviews and analyzes management reports and takes action.
• Performs quality review on claims per audit and quality standards.
• Acts as second level of appeal for client and claimant issues.
• Reviews reserve amounts on high-cost claims beyond examiner authority.
• Monitors third-party claims and litigated or sensitive claims as needed.
• Maintains client contact and provides written resumes of claims as requested.
• Ensures direct reports are properly licensed in serviced jurisdictions.
• Ensures claims files are properly coded with documentation.
• Performs other duties and supports the quality programs.
