Qualifications

• Leadership experience of three or more years in STD/LTD product and claims management.
• Ability to manage day-to-day execution and projects to achieve business goals.
• Associate degree or equivalent professional work experience.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Previous supervisory experience and ability to prioritize and assign work.
• Advanced computer skills: Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Creative agility to address complex business and technical challenges.

Responsibilities

• Facilitating communication among cross-functional teams including Customer Care, Administrative, and Clinical teams.
• Ensuring compliance and confidentiality through timely notifications to employees and client organizations.
• Reviewing documentation to support claim approvals/denials and responding to audits.
• Serving as Subject Matter Expert for Leave of Absence programs and advising on policies and processes.
• Leading a virtual team with defined roles and direct accountability to achieve goals.
• Developing solutions to prevent recurrence of client issues using diagnostic skills.
• Managing team performance against KPIs and meeting service guarantees.
• Overseeing day-to-day operations, workload distribution, and staff development.
• Responding to inquiries with appropriate communication style and attending client meetings.
