Job summary

Sedgwick is hiring a Claims Examiner for Workers' Compensation with jurisdiction knowledge of the Southeast States. This remote role involves analyzing claims, determining benefits, and ensuring settlements meet client expectations.

You will handle claim investigations, communicate with claimants and clients, and coordinate with carriers to resolve exposures within authority limits. A strong background in claims management is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Professional certification as applicable to line of business is a plus.
• 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing and processing claims to determine benefits and exposure.
• Negotiating settlements within designated authority.
• Communicating claim activity with claimants and clients.
• Reporting claims to carriers and responding to directions promptly.
