Job summary

Erie Insurance is seeking a remote Home & Auto Liability Claims professional to join the Casualty Claims Division. You will exercise independent discretion on complex liability issues, including coverage questions, while working from home in Ohio.

The role supports training, mentoring, and occasional travel for development. Eligible candidates typically have a high school diploma or equivalent with claims or customer service experience; associates or bachelor's degrees are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and two years of claims or customer service experience.
• Equivalent educational experience will be considered.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Investigate claims and evaluate coverage and liability.
• Set reserves and obtain documents to value claims and negotiate settlements.
• Document files and submit final reports.
• Identify subrogation opportunities and initiate appropriate action.
• Travel for training may be required.
