Job Description:

This is a full-time, remote position.

American Guardian Warranty Services, Inc. (AGWS), an affiliate of Reynolds and Reynolds, is seeking a Claims Adjuster – Automotive for our growing team. In this role, you will work remotely and be responsible for investigating, evaluating, and negotiating vehicle repair costs to determine coverage and liability. You will handle inbound calls to clarify coverage based on contracts and resolve customer issues. Responsibilities include:

  1. Answering inbound calls
  2. Providing information about claim processing and explaining contract coverage and terms
  3. Establishing, reviewing, and authorizing claims
  4. Entering claim and contract information into the system

A home office package, including monitors, a laptop, keyboard, and mouse, will be provided.

Training will be on the job.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience as an automotive mechanic in a service department, dealership, or independent shop
  • 2+ years of experience adjusting automobile mechanical claims
  • ASE certification is a plus
  • Quiet designated workspace for home working
  • Reliable internet with at least 50 Mbps download speed
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • High school diploma
