Job summary

Electric Power Engineers, LLC is seeking a Civil/Structural Designer to develop detailed civil and structural drawings for substations, transmission lines, and BESS facilities.

The role requires strong Civil 3D and AutoCAD skills, experience with site grading, drainage, and reinforcement detailing, and the ability to coordinate across disciplines to ensure accurate, construction-ready drawings.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering Technology or Structural Engineering Technology.
• 2–5 years of civil/structural design/drafting experience, preferably in substations.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD with drawing and grading workflow.

Responsibilities

• Prepare coordinated civil and structural construction drawings for energy projects.
• Develop Civil 3D surfaces, grading plans, drainage, and earthwork calculations.
• Produce detailed structural drawings for foundations, anchors, and supports.
• Coordinate with electrical, geotechnical, and other disciplines to resolve conflicts.
• Review drawings and support permitting with project standards.
