Job summary

Cannon in Seattle is seeking a Civil Project Engineer to support design and construction on land development projects, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.

The role involves preparing plans, performing earthwork and drainage calculations, coordinating with agencies and contractors, and providing field observations and progress reports under supervision. A bachelor’s in civil engineering and EIT are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering required.
• 2–4 years’ civil engineering experience in land development projects.
• EIT certification required; knowledge of AutoCAD or Civil 3D highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Designs and prepares drawings for grading, street improvements, drainage, and utilities.
• Performs basic earthwork, drainage, grading, and structural calculations.
• Coordinate with agencies, utility companies, vendors, and contractors as needed.
• Provide field observation and progress reports to the project manager.
