Cannon Corp in Riverside is seeking a Civil Senior Principal Engineer to lead land development projects with a focus on grading, drainage, water quality, and utilities. The role requires steering project teams, budgeting, mentoring staff, and coordinating with jurisdictions in the Inland Empire.

The ideal candidate holds a CA P.E. license, 15+ years of civil engineering experience, and a track record of business development and client management within land development contexts.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Civil engineering from an accredited college.
• Requires 15+ years’ experience in civil engineering specifically pertaining to land development projects.
• 5+ years demonstrated experience supervising and managing projects, including quality assurance reviews.
• Proven ability to lead teams and mentor staff; California P.E. license required.
• Experience with land development design and interaction with jurisdictional agencies in the Inland Empire.

Responsibilities

• Concurrently manages a variety of civil engineering land development projects.
• Establishes and fosters client relations and develops proposals and budgets.
• Participates in professional and/or technical organizations.
• Designs plans for grading, drainage, water quality, utilities, and off-site improvements.
• Mentors and supervises design staff and ensures quality assurance and control.
• Ensures projects are delivered on schedule, within scope and budget; coordinates with agencies.
