gpac is seeking a Civil Litigation Attorney in the Modesto/Sacramento, CA area with remote or hybrid flexibility. The ideal candidate will have experience in insurance defense and/or insurance coverage matters and will handle a broad civil litigation practice.

Qualifications

• California Bar admission in good standing.
• 1+ years civil litigation experience preferred.
• Insurance defense and/or insurance coverage experience preferred.
• Strong research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines.
• Team-oriented approach.
• ABA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle civil litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Defend insurance-related claims and disputes.
• Assist with insurance coverage matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents.
• Participate in discovery, depositions, hearings, mediations, and settlements.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, insurers, and other parties.
• Manage assigned caseload and meet deadlines.
