Job summary

Civil Engineering Academy is seeking a part-time FE/PE Instructor to teach civil engineering exam preparation courses remotely. Travel may be required for onsite classes.

You will develop lectures, create practice problems, record solutions, review existing materials for accuracy, and provide feedback on exam strategies and timing. Collaboration on curriculum and online content is welcomed to support diverse learners.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of civil engineering fundamentals and applications.
• Experience teaching or mentoring learners with clear explanations.
• Familiarity with FE/PE exam formats and problem types; passing exams preferred.
• Ability to design and refine instructional materials and exam-style questions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Comfort using educational tech and video-recording tools to deliver content.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering; PE license is a strong advantage.
• Commitment to inclusive, supportive learning environment.
