Job summary

TAIT in Loveland, CO is seeking a Civil Design Engineer to support land-development projects from prelim layout through final plan production. You will tackle grading, drainage analysis, street design and utilities, using Civil 3D, AutoCAD and related tools alongside an experienced team.

You should have a B.S. in Civil Engineering and 1–3 years of experience; E.I.T. preferred. The role offers a collaborative, people-first culture with growth opportunities and a balanced work schedule.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering with 1–3 years' experience; entry level considered.
• E.I.T. certification preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2009+ and Civil 3D; Hydrology/Hydraulics software experience.

Responsibilities

• Transform rough design into construction documents using AutoCAD.
• Establish alignments, profiles and earthwork calculations using AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
• Prepare drainage, grading, water/sewer/storm drainage plans for land development.
• Create engineering drawings to standards and assist with exhibits and constraint maps.
• Support project team with site planning and basic construction documents.
