Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager for Customer Identity & Platform Engineering. This remote role drives CIAM, backend services and shared platform capabilities on AWS, leading a team of engineers and product owners.

You will shape the technology roadmap, design secure cloud-native solutions, and partner with cybersecurity, product and data teams to deliver scalable, privacy-conscious experiences across our brands.

Qualifications

10+ years of software engineering, backend or platform engineering experience including leadership.
Strong CIAM expertise: OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML and modern identity platforms.
Experience building cloud-native backend apps, REST APIs and microservices.
Proven AWS experience across compute, storage, databases and monitoring.
Kubernetes, containerized apps, modern cloud architecture and security focus.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop software, cloud and product-owner teams.
Define roadmap for CIAM, backend services and shared platform capabilities.
Design, build and operate secure backend services, APIs and microservices.
Lead AWS cloud-native architecture and shared services.
Establish DevSecOps, CI/CD, testing, observability and reliability best practices.
Partner with Product, Digital Experience, Cybersecurity and Data teams.
Ensure security, privacy and regulatory compliance for identities and platforms.
Drive platform modernization and reduce technical debt.
