Job summary

Zekai seeks experienced Systems Architects or Chief Systems Architects for a 100% remote contract on an AI training project focusing on real-world engineering workflows. You will define architectures, lead multidisciplinary teams, and set clear technical objectives and evaluation criteria.

US-based candidates are preferred, but highly qualified applicants worldwide are welcome. A master’s degree or PhD in related fields and experience with MBSE, SysML, and architecture modeling tools are valued;

Qualifications

• Experience as Systems Architect or Chief Systems Architect or equivalent technical leadership role.
• Proven ownership of architecture for complex engineering systems and leadership of diverse teams.
• Strong skills in system architecture design, trade studies, interfaces, and architecture reviews.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Design and define system architectures across multiple disciplines (mechanical, electrical, hardware, software, manufacturing).
• Translate objectives into architectures with boundaries, subsystems, interfaces and constraints.
• Break down complex problems into tasks with inputs, deliverables, dependencies and owner responsibilities.
