Job summary

HPSJ Health Plan is seeking a Chief Health Services Officer to provide strategic direction across Health Services functions, including Utilization Management, Case Management, Behavioral Health, and Quality Management. Remote role for CA residents, reporting to executive leadership.

The candidate will co-chair the Quality Improvement and Health Equity Transformation Committee and drive performance metrics, regulatory compliance, and cross-department collaboration to improve member care.

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of clinical operations protocols.
• Expert knowledge of regulatory requirements for Medi-Cal and Medicare related to utilization management, case management and behavioral health.
• Strong project management and budgeting skills.
• Excellent collaboration and communication across diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversees operational objectives and plans; develops and implements business plans.
• Leads and mentors Health Services leadership team.
• Collaborates with CMO on Quality Improvement and Health Equity Transformation.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory guidelines and NCQA requirements.
