Job summary

HPSJ is seeking a Chief Health Services Officer to provide strategic direction across Health Services, including Utilization Management, Case Management, Behavioral Health, and Quality Improvement. The role requires leadership, regulatory knowledge, and a commitment to health equity, with remote work options for California residents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited nursing school and six+ years in clinical operations.
• Six+ years in progressively responsible healthcare leadership roles.
• Experience in UM/CM or behavioral health for government programs.
• Experience developing and implementing quality and population health programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversees operational objectives and develops business plans and tactics.
• Collaborates with Chief Medical Officer on Quality Improvement and Health Equity initiatives.
• Identifies medical service issues affecting plan benefits and directs resolution.
• Leads stakeholder collaboration to advance health equity and comply with regulatory standards.
• Ensures staff training in diversity, equity, and inclusion and maintains records.
