Job summary

The Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation (CCF) seeks a Chief Development Officer to lead fundraising, donor relations, and development strategy. This fully remote senior role reports to the CEO and drives initiatives with the Board and leadership team to expand resources and impact.

The CDO will manage a fundraising team, build a diversified portfolio of major gifts, foundations, and corporate support, and partner with the CFO and Finance to ensure accurate reporting and growth in support for CCF’s

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 7–10 years in non-profit Fundraising.
• Proven track record closing gifts above $10,000 and coordinating gifts at $100,000+.
• Experience managing annual funds, major gifts, foundation grants, and donor stewardship.
• Knowledge of donor database management; Raiser's Edge a plus.
• Ability to work virtually in a full-time, remote role; strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive fundraising strategy and revenue generation.
• Manage a team of fundraisers to achieve an $8M+ annual target.
• Cultivate donor pipelines with individuals, foundations, and corporate sponsors.
• Oversee foundation and corporate partnerships; align with organizational priorities.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting with the CFO and Finance.
