Qualifications

• Bachelor or BA degree required; advanced quantitative degree preferred.
• Ten years in data science.
• Five years in cost estimating or cost analysis.
• Five years leading projects of comparable scope.
• Leadership in data science with cross-functional teams.
• Experience integrating data science with existing processes/tech.
• History of driving ML/AI R&D initiatives.
• Active Secret clearance; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior technical authority across tasks including pipeline designs, analytical methods, and deployed products.
• Architect the customer cloud cost data environment; guide technology stack and platform evolution.
• Own experimental design, governance, model selection, and validation standards.
• Decide where ML provides value over transparent methods; document data quality conditions.
• Propose technology insertion with benefits, impact, effort, and risk.
• Advise customer on adoption barriers and integrate products into cost estimating workflows.
• Ensure content quality and compliance across tasks; author or approve reports.
• Drive ML/AI R&D and translate results into actionable recommendations for decision makers.
