Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking an Associate Vice President, Clinical Insights to set the enterprise strategy and roadmap for clinical insight products. The leader defines how Humana measures clinical excellence and translates insights into actions across insurance, primary care, pharmacy, and home health.

You will oversee governance and cross‑functional teams to drive value realization and executive decision‑making through evidence-based approaches. Remote with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data science, math, computer science, health sciences or public health.
• 15+ years of related professional experience.
• 10+ years of people management experience, including leading leaders and multiple teams.
• 10+ years of expertise in clinical analytics, population health strategy, quality improvement, incl. AI.
• Experience using claims and electronic health record data in a payer or integrated system.
• Ability to synthesize complex information and communicate enterprise strategy.
• Proven track record converting evidence into executive decisions with measurable action.

Responsibilities

• Create and own the enterprise clinical insights vision, mission, strategy, and 2–4 year roadmap.
• Oversee strategy, design, QA, and governance of a dashboard to monitor enterprise clinical excellence.
• Govern the clinical excellence dashboard across business units for data-driven actions.
• Direct multiple teams including measurement science, stratification and predictive modeling, and provider quality.
• Partner with engineering and leaders to turn measurement into action across the enterprise.
• Direct cross-functional performance improvement efforts and prioritize interventions.
• Lead planning, staffing, budgeting, expense priorities, talent decisions, and changes to methods.
• Contribute to interdepartmental initiatives and represent the company on significant matters.
