Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking an Associate Vice President, Clinical Insights to set the enterprise strategy for clinical insights products and drive measurable performance improvements across insurance, primary care, pharmacy, and home health.

You will lead multiple analytics teams, govern an enterprise dashboard, and collaborate with engineering and business leaders to turn measurement into action while guiding budgeting, staffing, and talent decisions for the function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data science, math, computer science, health sciences, or public health
• Fifteen or more years of related professional experience
• 10+ years of people management experience including leading leaders and multiple teams
• 10+ years of deep expertise in clinical analytics, clinical or population health strategy, quality improvement
• Experience at a payer or integrated health system with claims and EHR data
• Ability to synthesize complex information and communicate enterprise strategy
• Proven ability to translate evidence into executive decisions and actions across payer and care delivery
• Passion for improving consumer healthcare experience

Responsibilities

• Create and own the enterprise clinical insights vision, mission, strategy, and 2–4 year roadmap
• Strategize, design, QA, and govern a dashboard to monitor enterprise clinical excellence
• Govern clinical excellence dashboard across units to enable data-driven actions
• Direct measurement science, stratification and predictive modeling teams
• Partner with engineering and business leaders to translate measurement into action
• Lead cross-functional performance improvement and prioritize interventions
• Oversee planning, staffing, budgeting, and talent decisions
• Represent the company on enterprise strategy initiatives
