Alignerr Corp. is seeking a Chemistry Subject Matter Expert to help train and improve AI models.

You will design advanced chemistry problems across domains to rigorously test AI performance and develop clear, step-by-step solutions with precise reasoning. This fully remote contract role offers flexible hours (10–40 per week) and the chance to collaborate with researchers to refine benchmarks from undergraduate to Master’s level chemistry.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or holding a Master's degree in Chemistry or related field.
• Strong scientific reasoning across advanced chemistry domains.
• Clear written communication of complex ideas.
• Detail-oriented with a systematic evaluation of accuracy and logic.
• Self-motivated and able to work asynchronously.
• No prior AI experience required.

Responsibilities

• Design advanced chemistry problems spanning areas such as chemical engineering, biochemistry, organic chemistry, and physical chemistry to rigorously test AI performance.
• Develop clear, step-by-step solutions with precise, well-structured reasoning.
• Evaluate AI-generated outputs for scientific accuracy, logical consistency, and quality.
• Collaborate with researchers to refine and improve benchmarks across undergraduate to Master's-level chemistry topics.
• Provide structured, actionable feedback that helps AI systems reason more like an expert.
