Job summary

Alignerr Corp. seeks Chemistry Researchers (Masters/PhDs) to design, solve, and evaluate chemistry problems that train AI models to think like scientists. This remote, hourly contract offers flexible, task-based work for subject-matter experts.

Experts with strong chemistry knowledge and precision will collaborate with AI researchers to ensure scientific accuracy while working independently on flexible schedules.

Qualifications

• Holds a Master’s or PhD in Chemistry or closely related field.
• Deep expertise in organic, inorganic, physical, or computational chemistry.
• Comfortable with Python or computational chemistry tools such as Gaussian or VASP.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex chemistry problems spanning organic, inorganic, physical, or computational chemistry.
• Solve and review advanced problems to ensure scientific accuracy, depth, and clarity.
• Apply domain expertise to challenge and improve AI model reasoning in chemistry.
• Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts.
• Maintain rigorous scientific standards across all deliverables.
• Work independently on task-based assignments, fully on your schedule.
