Job summary

Weekday AI is seeking Chemistry Research Collaborators for an AI research initiative focused on advancing scientific reasoning in chemistry. This remote, part-time engagement offers up to 20 hours per week with weekly payments.

You will review papers, design challenging chemistry problems for AI training, and evaluate AI-generated solutions across organic synthesis, mechanisms, spectroscopy, and computational chemistry.

Qualifications

• PhD or postdoctoral training from a globally recognized institution in Chemistry or related STEM discipline.
• Recipient of prestigious fellowships or research awards such as NSF/ Hertz/Sloan etc. (optional but desirable).
• Named inventor on patents or PI on funded grants is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review chemistry research papers for accuracy, originality, and significance.
• Design and review challenging chemistry problems for AI model training.
• Assess AI-generated solutions across organic synthesis, reaction mechanisms, spectra, and computational chemistry.
• Provide detailed, evidence-based feedback to improve AI model performance.
• Collaborate with researchers to ensure consistency and quality across tasks.
