Alignerr is seeking Chemistry Masters and PhDs to design, solve, and evaluate advanced chemistry problems used to train cutting-edge AI models. This fully remote hourly contract invites domain experts to shape AI reasoning across organic, inorganic, physical, and computational chemistry.

Applicants should hold a Master’s or PhD in Chemistry, be fluent in English, and comfortable with Python or computational chemistry tools such as Gaussian or VASP.

Responsibilities

• Design complex, real-world chemistry problems spanning organic, inorganic, physical, or computational chemistry
• Solve and review advanced problems to ensure scientific accuracy, depth, and clarity
• Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and domain experts to enhance AI reasoning
• Apply computational tools and chemical knowledge to create problems for AI thinking
• Ensure all deliverables meet high standards of scientific rigor and precision
