Job summary

HTM seeks a hands-on CFO & Business Advisor to serve as the financial leader for about 30 law firm clients. You will review statements, build models, and turn data into actionable strategies for pricing, margins, cash flow, and profitability.

This full-time W-2 role is 100% remote, with no business development. Base salary $110,000 plus performance-based compensation to $182,000+ OTE, plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of finance leadership experience advising or leading finance for small and midsized businesses (generally $1M–$35M+ revenue).
• Experience managing multiple client relationships simultaneously.
• Direct experience with owners, founders, or senior leadership teams.
• Strong hands-on financial analysis, modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the financial leader and business advisor for approximately 30 law firms.
• Review financial statements, investigate discrepancies, and identify opportunities.
• Build financial models, budgets, forecasts, cash flow plans, and KPI dashboards.
• Help owners improve pricing, margins, cash flow, and profitability.
• Advise on hiring, growth, and other important business decisions.
• Translate financial information into clear, practical recommendations owners can act on.
