Gainwell Technologies LLC is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) to support Rhode Island Medicaid and other state pharmacy programs in a fully remote role within the United States. You will research and resolve pharmacy-related issues, handle prior authorizations, claims, and program operations while collaborating with state agencies, providers, and internal teams.

The ideal candidate has an active CPhT credential and at least two years of relevant experience in managed care or PBM

Qualifications

• Active Certified Pharmacy Technician credential (PTCB/CPhT, ExCPT, or equivalent) required.
• Two or more years of pharmacy technician experience, preferably in managed care or PBM.
• Experience with prior authorizations, claims processing, and pharmacy terminology.
• Familiarity with POS claims, HCPCS, and eligibility or formulary processes is desirable.
• Strong communication, research, problem-solving, and computer skills for a remote environment.

Responsabilités

• Maintain day-to-day relationships with state agency personnel and support updates.
• Support pharmacy programs through prior authorizations, claims, and adjudication.
• Review and process PA requests per criteria and regulatory guidelines.
• Investigate inquiries from members, providers, and pharmacies with accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve quality and operations.
