Virtual Vocations Inc. is seeking a full-time Certified Coder - Neurology to perform advanced coding and appeal activities in a remote role.

The coder will investigate payer issues, file timely appeals to insurance companies, and handle charge corrections while working remotely. Responsibilities include reviewing medical records for accurate coding, assigning CPT/ICD-10 codes, and collaborating with physicians to resolve coding issues.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent certification.
• Must possess one of the following coding credentials: AHIMA (CCA, CCS, CCS-P) or AAPC (CPC, CPC-A, CPC-H, CPC-H-A).
• No specific work experience required.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding preferred.
• Associate degree in Medical Coding & Billing is a plus.

• Review medical record documentation to select appropriate diagnoses and procedures for coding.
• Code evaluation and management to appropriate CPT codes and diagnoses to ICD-10 codes.
• Collaborate with physicians to resolve coding issues and secure necessary documentation.
