Job summary

Jobrapido seeks a Certified Medical Coder with strong outpatient and ED coding experience for a 100% remote, 8‑week contract. The role requires 3+ years in outpatient coding and ER coding, with 3M and HDS tool proficiency.

Candidates must hold CCS/CCP/RHIT or AHIMA credentials, have ICD-10/9-CM and CPT-4 knowledge, and possess solid research skills and English proficiency. Weekly pay and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of outpatient coding experience.
• ER/ED coding experience required.
• Acute care coding experience.
• Certification: CCS, CCP, RHIT or AHIMA credentials.
• Proficiency with ICD-10, ICD-9-CM and CPT-4.
• Strong understanding of coding guidelines.
