Job summary

Filevine, a Legal AI company, is seeking experienced Certified Shorthand Reporters to join its deposition services network in Missouri as independent reporters.

This freelance role offers a flexible schedule with remote and in-person assignments, access to a nationwide marketplace, and robust operational support to focus on accurate transcripts.

You'll deliver verbatim transcripts using CAT software, manage exhibits, and coordinate with our team to ensure timely delivery and prompt payment.

Qualifications

• Current Missouri CCR certificate from MO Board required.
• Proven ability to deliver accurate transcripts on deadline.
• Expertise with CAT software (Case CATalyst, Eclipse) and related digital tools.
• Professionalism, confidentiality, and client-service mindset when working with attorneys.
• Strong communication skills and adaptability in fast-paced settings.

Responsibilities

• Capture and deliver verbatim transcripts of depositions and other proceedings.
• Use CAT software to scope, proofread, and finalize certified transcripts.
• Manage proceedings with professionalism, ensuring punctuality, decorum, and adherence to procedural rules in your jurisdiction.
• Mark and manage exhibits.
• Collaborate with our operations team as needed for scheduling, setup, and technical coordination.
• Submit completed transcript files within appropriate turnaround time and invoices for prompt payment.
