Freeman Health System is seeking a certified medical coder to join our billing team. You will determine codes for diagnoses and procedures for office and surgical records, and assign CPT and ICD-10 codes for billing.

Requirements include a current CPC coding certification. If homebound, residents must live within Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri or Oklahoma within a couple hours of Freeman. Fully remote after a 120-day training period.

Qualifications

• Current CPC coding certification.
• Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding for billing.
• Experience with office and surgical records is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determines correct codes for diagnoses and procedures for office and surgical records.
• Assigns CPT and ICD-10 codes for billing reimbursement.
