Overview

A client of Insight Global is looking for a CCSQ Migration Engineer to support their team. We are seeking a CCSQ Migration Engineer to lead cloud modernization efforts within CMS’s hybrid cloud environment. This role involves designing and executing secure, scalable AWS architectures to support the migration of applications and infrastructure, including VPC configurations, IAM policies, and monitoring solutions. The engineer will build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Terraform, Jenkins, and CloudBees Core, while ensuring compliance with federal standards such as HIPAA and FISMA. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, strategic planning capabilities, and a commitment to delivering secure, cost-effective cloud solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead cloud modernization efforts within CMS’s hybrid cloud environment, designing and executing secure, scalable AWS architectures to support migration of applications and infrastructure (including VPC configurations, IAM policies, and monitoring solutions).
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Terraform, Jenkins, and CloudBees Core.
• Ensure compliance with federal standards (e.g., HIPAA and FISMA) during migration and operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align migration strategies with CCSQ’s mission and facilitate stakeholder engagement.
• Support legacy system decommissioning as part of modernization efforts.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation: $59/hr – $62/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
