Job summary

SuperAnnotate AI, Inc is seeking a CBRN Specialist (SME) on a short-term, remote contract to review AI-generated content on chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear safety topics. You will assess accuracy, safety framing, terminology, and risk, providing precise written feedback.

You will identify unsafe guidance and ensure compliance with project guidelines while delivering high-quality, policy-aligned evaluations across time zones.

Qualifications

• Masters degree or higher in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of professional experience in CBRN safety, emergency preparedness, hazardous materials, biosafety, radiation safety, public health, EH&S, defense/security analysis, technical review, or related work.
• Strong English proficiency (C1) to provide detailed written feedback.

Responsibilities

• Review CBRN-related AI content for accuracy, safety, and guideline alignment.
• Identify unsafe or enabling content and flag misuse risks.
• Develop safe reference content and gold-standard examples.
• Evaluate and rank model outputs for safe handling, risk framing, refusals, and usefulness.
• Ensure model integrity by detecting hallucinations, misclassifications, or unsafe guidance.
• Support policy-aligned review with clear written feedback on safety and completeness.
• Maintain technical quality with precise terminology and responsible safety communications.
• Escalate high-risk content for additional review.
