Job summary

The American College of Cardiology seeks an Accreditation Review Specialist - Procedural to support facilities pursuing Cath Lab, Electrophysiology, and Transcatheter Valve Certifications. This remote role requires up to 80% travel within the United States and focuses on comprehensive accreditation oversight across procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing is required.
• Five years’ healthcare experience with cardiovascular focus is preferred.
• Active licensure in the practicing area is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills expected.
• Basic knowledge of performance improvement activities and metrics is expected.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site or video site reviews to assess accreditation readiness and identify gaps.
• Advise facilities on accreditation requirements and review submitted materials for completeness.
• Participate in presentations and trade shows to educate about accreditations.
• Coordinate with facilities to arrange site reviews and gather documentation.
• Prepare summary reports for the Accreditation Review Committee and facilities.
