Wanzek is seeking a Category Manager to lead the sourcing, supplier management, and procurement strategy for assigned commodities. This role focuses on optimizing costs and improving supply chain efficiency. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in supply chain or a related field, and at least seven years of experience in strategic sourcing, commodity management, and/or contract negotiation.

Responsibilities include developing a multi-year procurement strategy and managing supplier relationships. The position offers a competitive salary of $110,000 - $160,000 per year based on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Engineering, Business or related field.
• Seven+ years' experience in strategic sourcing, commodity management, and/or contract negotiation.
• Experience within construction industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute multi‑year commodity procurement strategy.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues.
• Lead and manage sourcing activities including Requests for Proposal (RFP) reviews.
