Job summary

Wanzek is looking for a Category Manager responsible for leading sourcing and procurement strategies for renewable energy projects. This role requires evaluating supplier relationships and optimizing costs while ensuring efficient supply chain operations.

The ideal candidate will have at least seven years of experience in strategic sourcing and a relevant bachelor’s degree. The position may be remote with travel required to office locations.

Qualifications

• Seven+ years' experience in strategic sourcing, commodity management, and/or contract negotiation.
• Experience within construction industries preferred.
• Supply Chain Certification (CSCP, CSCM, CPP, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute multi-year commodity procurement strategy.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues.
• Lead and manage sourcing activities including RFP reviews.
