Job summary

Parachute Health is building the most complete home medical equipment catalog and is seeking a Catalog Strategist & Taxonomist to own taxonomy, information architecture, and catalog data modeling.

You will serve as the catalog administrator, set standards, and drive enhancements end to end in collaboration with Operations, Product, Design, and Engineering. This 90-day contract with potential full-time conversion requires strategic thinking and strong governance.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in taxonomy, information architecture, and metadata or attribute modeling for large catalogs.
• Hands-on experience administering catalog or PIM systems and defining data-quality standards.
• Track record turning ambiguous catalog problems into clear requirements and prioritizing enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Own taxonomy standards, category hierarchy, and catalog data model; evolve them as we expand into new categories.
• Govern attributes, values, naming conventions, and data-quality standards across the catalog.
• Lead design reviews and up-level merchandising team skills in catalog and taxonomy.
