Job summary

AHCCCS is seeking a Care Management Healthcare Consultant in the Division of Fee for Service Management to assess, coordinate, and monitor service delivery for members in Arizona. The role combines clinical judgment with regulatory compliance to address quality of care and system-wide issues.

The position will be hybrid with some in-office meetings and on-site investigations; remote work is available within Arizona.

Qualifications

• Must hold Arizona medical license (RN or higher) or Arizona Behavioral Health license (Associate or higher).
• At least 3 years of relevant healthcare experience.
• Valid Arizona Driver License may be required for travel.

Responsibilities

• Monitor compliance with State and Federal regulations and track case data.
• Research, document, and resolve quality of care and safety issues.
• Conduct on-site investigations and reviews as needed, including after-hours.
• Provide education and technical assistance to internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop improved processes and lead special projects within deadlines.
• Develop population-specific outcome metrics and analyze member data.
• Coordinate independent reviews of data and deliverables for quality assurance.
