PeaceHealth in Vancouver, WA is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work as a remote Cardiovascular inbox clinician supporting cardiology patients and providers.

Within scope of practice, the role includes evaluation, prescribing, monitoring medications, telehealth patient care, and collaborating with the medical staff. The 0.5 FTE position runs Monday through Friday, 4 hours per day, with opportunities for ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Requires 5+ years of cardiovascular experience.
• Must reside in Oregon, Washington, or Alaska.
• Active Washington license; willingness to obtain Oregon license if needed in the future.
• Remote 0.5 FTE with Monday–Friday, 4 hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and responds to electronic inbox messages in real time via EMR.
• Evaluate, treat, and manage cardiovascular patients; preventive care.
• Provides virtual patient care as needed.
• Collaborates with medical staff; consults, referrals as needed.
• Prescribes medications, orders labs, interprets results.
• Educates patients and families via virtual means.
• Maintains confidential medical records per standards.
• Continuously integrates new knowledge into practice.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
