Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc. is seeking a Clinical Research Associate (CRA) for cardiovascular studies with remote work option in the USA (New Jersey - Rahway). You will oversee site performance, monitor trials, and ensure adherence to ICH-GCP and local regulations.

Expect 65–75% travel and close collaboration with cross-functional teams. Requirements include an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a scientific/healthcare field, 2+ years of site management experience, and strong data/documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher with relevant healthcare experience and site management.
• Experience in monitoring, regulatory documentation and ICH-GCP guidelines.
• Excellent communication in English; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Develops strong site relationships across all trial phases.
• Performs remote and on-site monitoring per ICH-GCP and SOPs.
• Manages regulatory documentation for start-up, maintenance and close-out.
• Coordinates with sponsor teams to ensure Site Ready and data integrity.
• Contributes to site selection and validation activities.
