Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent.
• HEARTSAVER certification required by American Heart Association.
• EKG monitoring experience 0–1 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and documents cardiac rhythms.
• Provides patient/family education.
• Performs electrode site care.
• Ensures proper functioning of monitoring equipment and promotes cost-effective use of supplies.
• Undergoes ongoing training and review of patient monitors.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
