Job summary

Intermountain Health in Billings, MT is seeking a Cardiac Device Registered Nurse to assess, coordinate, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients with implanted cardiac devices. You will coordinate interrogation, programming, and triage of device data during clinic visits or remote transmissions.

Responsibilities include device programming per orders, device recall response, maintaining the clinic database, and educating patients and staff on device function and management.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification required.
• Certification such as ACLS/PALS may be required.
• Cardiology experience in ECG/telemetry/ICU or CV labs preferred.
• Strong communication and written skills.
• Proficient with computer systems and data entry.
• Ability to organize, multitask and follow details.

Responsibilities

• Interrogate implanted devices and monitor patient response.
• Program devices per physician orders and manage device settings.
• Prioritize remote transmissions and alert management; troubleshoot devices.
• Maintain the Device Clinic Database and patient records.
• Educate patients, providers, and staff on implantable devices and data.
• Follow action plans during device recalls and advisories.
