Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group (CSAA IG) is seeking a Capital Modeling Lead to build and enhance its internal economic capital framework. You will collaborate with ERM, Actuarial, Reinsurance, Investments, and FP&A to broaden capital analytics.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
10+ years in P&C insurance economic capital modeling, enterprise risk modeling, or closely related quantitative modeling.
Proven ability to design or build stochastic insurance models, not just operate existing models.
Strong understanding of Monte Carlo simulation, VaR/TVaR, dependency modeling, diversification, and capital attribution.
Experience with catastrophe modeling and reinsurance concepts is preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain a reproducible, controlled internal economic capital model.
Challenge and improve existing model calculations and methodologies.
Collaborate with ERM, Actuarial, Reinsurance, Investments, and FP&A to broaden capital analytics use.
Translate capital analytics into actionable business insights for decisions.
Support governance, validation, and regulatory discussions related to capital.
